  1. I like Rules of Negotiations, because i could identify with the Heroine. She looked after an ailing mother and so did I...

  3. I liked kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire as for one his name is as sexy as the body on the cover also who wouldnt want to be kidnapped by the billionaire and live his life for a short time, But since I was married to a poor Greek who showed me his true colors as a greek man he was overly nice to every female not just his wife but this book would be something to escape in although they all sound so wonderful as Rules of Negotiations also i called my grandma daily she in calif and i in iowa as she was ailing with losing her memory and saying things that didnt happen so i flew there and took care of her till she fell thinking she could run almost to mcdonalds and fell with a brain bleed those were the worst 12 days never had a mother so she was my closest ....Love books to escape real life and just to keep the mind going

  4. I liked THE MARRIAGE BARGAIN. Books that feature a marriage of convenience have always grabbed me and I read all of them that I can get my hands on. I love how a business arrangement always ends up being a love affair. Sigh - so romantic! In THE MARRIAGE BARGAIN, the heroine, Alexa, pulled at my heartstrings because she owns a bookstore (something I would love to do); helps homeless dogs at a shelter (this is a passion for me); builds a fire in the middle of the floor (I threatened to do that last night as it was chilly in here - just kidding! I wouldn't really do it!); and has a wonderfully funny relationship with her humorous girlfriend, Maggie (funny girlfriends are a MUST). Our hero is a rich guy in need of a wife. (If I wouldn't appear to be a old cougar, I would raise my hand!) When Alexa is suggested for him and his reaction is "No Friggin Way," well, OF COURSE Alexa is a must! I am so looking forward to reading this book and have put it at the top of my Wish List.

  5. Oooh fun!

The Marriage Bargain blurb intrigued me the most and I loved the chapter. I always love when a character has a list (even if its mental and not a literal list-list) of things they will and won't do. LOL. And then the love interest enters and you just know each and every single rule is going to get knocked down until Bam! They're in love and don't know what to do about it. I'm dying to see what happens between Nik & Alexa that makes them confront each item on his Must Be list and how it makes them change.

Lots of good emotional conflict, lots of sexual tension they're both trying to fight... Yum!

  6. I like the marriage of convenience angle in the Marriage Bargin

  7. I think The Marriage Bargain. I love the way the restrictions the couple agrees to always fall away and they become into each other but don't know how to change the rules.

  8. Congratulations on the launch of the Indulgence line. The Marriage Bargain sounds great to me. I love marriage of convenience and in love with your best friend's brother themes.

  10. They are all grabbed me right away. I loved them all but I narrowed it down to Kiss and Make Up and The Marriage Bargain. And I picked Kiss and Make up because I laughed out loud when she asked Eli if those were his teeth and he said yes and that it was terribly rude to ask that. LOL.

  11. After reading all the excerpts, I was tempted to reread The Marriage Bargain, again. This particular chapter caught my attention...and I wanted MORE! Lists are something to which I truly relate. I am looking forward to reading that book...just based on those few words. The other books, while intriguing, did little to capture my imagination. I guess the romantic in me appreciates the marriage of convenience/turned to love angle. And then, of course, there are the lists to unravel...

  12. I really liked Kiss and Make Up. Any comparisons to Vin Diesel is a plus for me!

  13. Rules of Negotiation for me!
I like strong heroines, and Brit seems to know what he's after!
I found the opening chapter to be humorous and I could picture the scene with Tori in my head right away! I'm not saying the others were bad, but this was my favorite.
    Thanks,
    Neecy

  14. Congrats and best wishes on this new venture! I am intrigued by The Marriage Bargain. I really enjoy marriage of convenience stories, and you don't usually see that plot in contemporaries. The fact that the marriage is in name only is a fun twist. I want to find out who is the first to cave!

  15. I was looking forward to the launch of this line and this is such a wonderful day for it. Congratulations!

I really like the sound of Rules of Negotiation. The characters seem like ones I can relate to and who I want to cheer on.

  16. The Marriage Bargain - I love bookstores, old houses, and love to read books where bargains are made in the heat of the momment and the characters really do fall in love at the end!

  18. "Kiss and Make Up" got my attention. I love the TV show Face Off on Syfy. It's a competition for special effects make-up artists. I've been wondering what it would be like working on a set. Now I can read this book and find out. :)

  19. I would have to say of these 4 "the Marriage Bargain" captured my attention. I would like to know what Nick thinks about Alexa. Is it a good thing or a bad thing that Alexa needs a husband? I can't tell yet. From their list they sound like polar opposites and those stories always make the best when they get together at the end.

  20. It's a tough choice. The covers are all so beautiful and I'm shallow.

The Marriage Bargain. I'm a sucker for a marriage of convenience!

  21. Congrats one the new Indulgence line! I read all four excerpts and ended up buying all four books... I think my favorite is going to be "The Marriage Bargain", I just love the marriage of convenience leading to a HEA and this sounds like a good one!

  22. I like the marriage bargain. I liked Alexa right off the bat. The clincher? The end of the snippet. "No frickin’ way." I have to know why that's Nick's reaction, LOL.

  23. I can't wait to read The Marriage Bargain. I am a HUGE Jennifer Probst fan!

  24. I think I like both "The Marriage Bargain" and "Kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire". I can't decide between them but I have a feeling I will like "The Marriage Bargain" the best. We will see! Congratulations on the new line launch. Wishing you all the best!

  25. Congrats on the new launch! They all sound good. My favorite is The Marriage Bargain. It sounds like there is some history there. Also want to read Kiss and Make Up. The new site looks great.

  26. Congratulations on the launch of the new line.

The Marriage Bargain has to be my favorite. I always love stories about women that use a little magic to find themselves a perfect man. The references to GWTW my favorite book of all time is just icing on the cake.
I really think The Marriage Bargain is wonderful.

  27. It's not quite midnight here. I hope I'm not too late. All of the books look wonderful. My favorite is Kiss and Make Up followed by Rules of Negotiation. Their sense of humor pulled me right in. The opening line in Kiss and Make Up, "I kissed an Orc once," is the best hook I've read in forever. "Work on a movie or tv set as a gofer," is on my bucket list, so a romance set there intriguing.

Crossing my fingers for the Kindle.

  28. I liked 3 out of 4. The ones I liked were Kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire,Kiss and Make Up, and The Marriage Bargain. My favorite is The Marriage Bargain. I love the idea of a marriage of convenience that will never be "in name only."

  30. My favorite was the Marriage Bargain. I like the idea of this couple coming together to help each other out. You hope that they will end up together. It will be fun to watch them come together and see them grow as a couple.

  31. I liked Kiss and Make up. I was immediately drawn in and wanted to find out what happens next. Plus the premiss sounds great and something I know nothing about (ie make up artists, movie making)

  32. The Marriage Bargain interested me the most. Love that "marriage in name only" senario. Also love that she conjured up her perfect man and it was someone she knew!

  33. I liked The Marriage Bargain best. I love reading about two people who don't start out loving each other and get into something just to enhance their own lives some how. A little magic, real or not doesn't hurt when your deal with love.

  34. I liked Kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire and Rules of Negotiation so much I just had to purchase them! I love the beginning of the Kidnapped book. I can't wait to find out what happens! I also enjoyed Rules of Negotiation. The heroine seems tough and no-nonsense, so I look forward to reading how she will handle Brit!

  36. RULES OF NEGOTIATION First having to deal with Fritzy, then Brit. I have a feeling she'll deal with Brit a lot better than Fritzy. She might be tiny, but I believe she is full of P & V!! ;-) Happy Launch Day!!!

Wow, they all seem like they are really great books, but the one that caught my interest the most was KISS & MAKE UP: Faye Robertson. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters and the way they gently teased, flirted and joked around with each other. Oh and did I mention I love that instead of calling Tabitha "Tabby" like her friends do that he already gave her the special nickname "Tabbs"? ;)

  38. Marriage of conveninece always intrigue me. The dynamics always play out so fun. So, my top pick is the Marriage Bargain.

  39. Belated CONGRATS on the launch of Indulgence. After reading the four excerpts... if this is a good sample of the types of books that will be published, I just may have to open up the ole pocketbook and spring for some sort of ereader... I've been resisting. Evelynmfinney@hotmail.com

  40. I found The Marriage Bargain most intriguing. I love how she has her list and he has his, and their mutual friend still thinks they can be perfect for each other. I love reluctant love stories!

  41. Congrat on the launch!! I have to say I want to read them all! If I had to pick one it'd be kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire! I would love to be kidnapped myself!! I hope I win!! ElaineSay. elainesaynayatyahoodotcom

  42. Must Tabby sacrifice her hard-won career for love? Or will Eli forever be the one that got away?
I would love to find out the answers to these questions by reading Kiss And Make Up. You sure do have me intrigued!
    Thanks!

  43. Hi Lori!
I have read the four chapters and after much deliberation I chose Kiss and Make Up. New Zealand is one of the few places I have always wanted to travel to. I can hear Eli's accent in my head as I read. I am intrigued on what happens next and truthfully, will be looking for this book now to buy!
It was almost tied though, I really did take pity on Tori with Rules of Engagement. I have animals who are mine but seem to prefer the company of others as well!
    Good luck everyone!
    Kindest of regards

  44. I liked Kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire. I love stories that have a wounded hero. Wouldn't we all want to heal the wounds in beautiful Greece with the Greek Billionaire? I know I wouldn't mind trying. :)

    Also, congratulations on your launch!!

  45. Marriages of convenience always interest me, but I love the whole foreign country thing with Greece. I guess I would have to go with Kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire. Who am I fooling, they all sound great. Happy Launch Day!!!

  46. I like 'Kiss and Make Up'. So cute she is a Make up artist on a movie set. I can't wait to read that book. I like books about occupations and places I am not familiar with. And I've never been on a movie set.

  47. Kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire - the setting in Greece interests me and would love to read it to see what happens between them. Oh yeah - the cover definately caught my eye :)

  48. The Marriage Bargin is my favorite. The idea of friends, no strings and a proposition make for a good story.

  49. The Marriage Bargain.....I love a gal who is willing to try anything to find a way to help her family....even to go so far as to make up a "spell" in the middle of her living room floor! But...I also want to go to New Zealand so I'm also going to buy Kiss and Make UP!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Kiss and Make Up... I love stories set in the world of film making. My favorite line? "I made it with an orc once." Too funny. Plus I too would love to travel to New Zealand. And the guy on the cover is dreamy. (That's 'dreamy' said with a New Zealand lilt.)

  51. I think The Marriage Bargain sounds the most intriging, but I think I would like to read all four of them. I especially like that it is set in New Zealand, a place I would love to go too. The little bit of witchcraft added a little interest too. Cant wait to read all three books!

  52. I think they all sound very interesting. But I would have to say that "Kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire" sounds very interesting but "The Marriage Bargain" comes in a close second. Can't wait to read all of them.

  53. The Marriage Bargain was the first I went to simply because the title made me think of two people needing or wanting something and to get that they hatched a plan that backfires and they fall in love :) I read the first chapter and it's cute and funny and I've got a little giggle going on and you know when a book starts like that the whole thing is going to be good. Thanks for the contest and introducing me to some great books!

  55. Hi Lori!! Congrats to you and much success with your new line of books. I have been following The Lori Wilde's Indulgence page since you posted it to Facebook. I am looking forward to having moe romance novels to read.
I liked all four of the chapter excerpts, it was so hard to choose!! But I think the first one I want to read is The Marriage Bargain. I love the marriage of convenience story lines. I loved how the hero made lists. The heroine is just what he needs to shake his well ordered life up. I am looking forward to reading it entirely!!

  56. The Marriage Bargain because I've always been drawn to the whole marriage of convenience, where two people make a deal to get together to save their family home/business or what the case might be. I love how they come to find love even when they weren't looking for it!

  57. kiss and make up by faye robertson.i didnt read it yet but i've just read the synopsis n some review from the readers.n i interested of this book cz it so passionate and romantic

  58. I would enjoy The marriage bargain. It felt like the main characters xould light the pages on fire before the end of the books. It is set in upstate NY and that's where I am from....so it adds another layer that I enjoy reading

    ReplyDelete
  59. I have to choose Kidnapped by the Greek Billionaire as the one I'm the most intrigued with (though I'll be happy to read all of them). I want to know about Kizzy, how she ended up in this situation. Why is Andreas so protective of the Antonides family? Why was he in London? And I'll admit it, there is a similarly named ancestor in my family, so a little piece of my imagination puts my 1800's ancestor, in this modern story.

    ReplyDelete
  60. They all looked like good stories but I think I would like Rules of Negotiation the most. It looks like a story where the couple start out with competing agendas but hopefully come together for each other. Plus the contrary cat at the beginning was fun.
