4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp shortening
warm water
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together.
Cut in shortening.
Add a tiny bit of water at a time.
Knead until dough is elastic when handled.
Pinch off and make 12 balls.
Roll out and cook on a dry griddle or skillet turning once.

DeleteThanks for these Lori, back in 1986 after we married we lived in London England they did not have flour tortillas so every week I made my own a couple years later the stores there started carrying them so after that I stopped making them. My old recipe is still back in England since I have 2 teenage girls now I want to show them how to make them. Thanks Lori!
