Cowgirl up!

Yesterday, I put on my red Old Gringo boots and headed out to speak at the Kingsland Library in the Texas Hill Country.

The event was well attended and I even said the pledge of allegiance for the first time in many years.

Afterwards we had refreshment and fellowship. Everyone was so nice. Inspiring to mingle with readers. It was a lot of fun and worth the 3 hour drive. On the way home, we stopped in Hico, Texas to take a picture of this gigant spur.

Only in Texas. LOL.
