Goodbye Slammy



Saturday night, I could not find my cat Slammy. After searching for an hour, I decided he must have gone off to hunt. When I couldn't find him in the morning, I began to worry. Around 2:00 pm I found him. He had been run over by a car.
I am so very sad. He was the sweetest, prettiest cat in the world!

    So sorry about Slammy it is so hard to lose a fur kid. Thankfully he has crossed the rainbow bridge and is waiting to see you again someday....

    I'm sorry about Slammy. Having a pet and loving them somehow makes up for the pain of knowing we will lose them someday.

    I am so sorry to hear this. Our pets are like parts of our soul. I had that happen years ago to a beloved pet. I cried for months. It's so hard to lose a part of you that loves with completeness even to our flaws. I wish you well and hope your heart recovers.

    So sorry to hear about Slammy - such a horrible and unexpected way to go.

    I agree with Tessa that our pets are part of our soul - they love us so unconditionally - Sometimes I wish people in the world today could be more like our pets - care about each other without any hate.
