The Wizard of Oz

I'm off to see the Wizard... Taking my 7 year old niece and 5 year old nephew and their mom to see the Broadway touring company of The Wizard of Oz.

Will have a lot of writing to catch up on when I return, but hey, sometimes you just gotta go out and have a life.

  1. Oh you are such a great auntie... we great auntie's have to stick together.. My brother and I, who don't have any kids, deceided to buy the youngest three neice and nephew a new computer for Christmas... I think they are going to be thrilled..

Have a wonderful time today... Let us know what you thought..

  2. Hope you had a great time, Lori! It'll be interesting to see what people think when the movie remake hits the screens.

  3. I hope you had a blast!

  4. It was a lot of fun, mostly to see how impressed the kids were by the show. They kept saying, "It was a REAL play."

  5. Oz continues to amaze.
The appeal of the film results from the perfect integration of musical numbers and adventures for enhancing and advancing a gripping plot. Wizard of Oz' posses all the ingredients of a perfect fairy tale. In fact, the movie laid down these rules.
