Spurs

Spurs are needed to make a horse move forward and to the side.  Spurs can be a very effective tool for a horseperson if used correctly. There are many kinds of spurs. One of the main differences is the shape of the rowel.

    I believe you neglected to post a pic of the, um, cowboy-type of person wearing spurs. Well, boots and spurs. Just boots and spurs... anything else might detract from the spurs. Just sayin'....

    Like Robin I would have loved to have seen a cowboy in spurs too.. But thanks for the lesson...
