BBQ Sauce

With the 4th of July coming up, I thought I'd share my favorite homemade barbecue sauce recipe.

This makes 1 pint

1 stick butter
1/2 cup catsup
3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Tbsp mustard
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp honey
3 Tbsp lime juice
1/2 cup water

Mix well. Simmer until desired thickness.

    I have a similar receipe, except mine does not have the mustard... But I think I will try it..thanks for sharing

    I can't wait to make some.

    I'm working this Fourth of July. Open fires and fireworks are banned this year. So, working isn't much of a hardship.

    This recipe looks delicious. Planning a BBQ, a walk to the parade up the street and fireworks at the high school. Oldest daughter, SIL and granddaughter to come over and play. should be fun.
