Besides meeting and mingling with bestselling, award-winning authors, readers get a great tea (you can get iced tea), entertainment, gifts from the authors at your table and you help a great charity. Oh and you get to wear a hat! This year, I'm going cowgirl and wearing my Stetson.
Hope to see you there.
I also have a giveaway today. I've got a copy of Christi Craig's DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS to give away.
If you'd like to be entered for a chance to win, just tell me why you would like to attend a readers tea. I'll draw a name tomorrow.
I would like to attend a readers tea because it is on my bucket list!
ReplyDeleteI think a tea would be fun. Especailly if you are reading a historical romance. It seems all historicals have teas in them or they are atleast drinking them. I love meeting authors and learning more about them and their inspiration. Maybe they can do one in LA for me!
ReplyDeleteI am a southern girl so mine would need ice.
I loved the one and only reader's tea I went too. And I am still trying to finish all the books I got from it! I can't wait to go to another!
ReplyDeleteOh I so wish I can come!! The commute from MD would be a tough one but I think it would be so much fun to meet authors and talk books with a tall glass of ice tea!
ReplyDeleteseting drining and talking about books that is just fun whhoo

I would love to attend a readers tea for the experience of meeting new and favourite authors, and because I have never been to one. Buns and Roses sounds like such a cozy, fun affair. I checked out the line-up of authors and it's amazing. Yourself Lori, Lorraine Heath, Sophie Jordan and more. I wish it was nearer to my area. Wishing everyone who goes a great time!
ReplyDeleteNext year I plan to attend the tea. I just can't swing it this year.
ReplyDeleteI already ordered "Don't Mess with Texas," but it hasn't arrived yet.
It sounds like it would be a blast... I wish I could make it... Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have already orderd "Don't Mess with Texas"...
