Got some Christmas reading to do? Tell me what's in your TBR (to be read) pile and you'll be entered to win a $20.00 gift card to Amazon. Contest ends on Friday.
Oh my goodness where do I start I have a crate and bookshelf by my bed with TBR books. Some of the top of the pile are Kasey Michaels new one, Just finished Sabrina Jefferies last night, several intrigues, about 12 old regency romances, then on book shelf ones of authors I collect that are older and I have recently found. Some Debra Mullins, you, Linda Lael Miller, Kathy Caskie, Catherine Anderson. I think I need to leave now and get reading :-)
Well, in between books for review for my blog, I have my Christmas ones that I bring out from years past with the new ones from that year... next up will be Merry Christmas, Baby by Thompson/LaBrecque/Nelson. :)
Next up is Sex, Lies, and Mistletoe. Just finished A Cowboy for Christmas and I have a post for The Closet going up tomorrow. I hope to read something "Highlander" related here real soon....LOL My poor TBR list goes on forever...I gues I should stop adding to it, but I enjoy reading way to much for that!!!!
My TBR pile is as equally jam packed with books as the previous commenter's piles are. I just finished a book and the next one I am going to read is Sandra Hyatt's last book Lessons in Seduction then I'll begin to read January's Superromances. And who knows where I will go from there!!!!!
Just literary finished Raylene's story. A+ Lori very good read can't wait for Christine's. TBR I have at least 10 on my Kindle and on my book stand next to the bed. Next one will be Lorelei James

I have so many books staring at me screaming: "Read Me!" Wish there were more hours in the day. It's so frustrating. Right now, I'm reading Karen Hawkins' "An Affair to Remember." When I chatted with her on a live blog recently, she told me that I would like that book as I am a fan of governess books. She's right! I'm thoroughly enjoying it! Now, if I could get the Christmas gifts to stop staring at me and screaming: "Wrap Me!" Sigh....
Having just downloaded a load of books to my reader there are just too many to list.
One I will mention however or my daughter will never forgive me and that is 'Holiday With The RATS 2011'. She has a short story in it and I promised I'd read all four of them to let her know what I think (the things a mum has to do!)
That still leaves about 20 or more on that pile :S
Hi Lori! So many books....so little time! Too many books to list but here are some of the authors. Diana Palmer, Linda Lael Miller, Suzanne Enoch, Eloisa James, Debbie Macomber, Mary Balogh, Christina Dodd, Susan Wiggs, Johanna Lindsay, and several more.
I did just finish your Welcome Home Garden Club. Good addition to the Twilight Series. I like that little town.
Don't tell anyone but I think my hubby is getting me something electronic for Christmas and I'll be able to download the e-books you just released in this series. Woo Hoo!
I'm like krisgils33, I have so many books in my TBR pile. I am working my way through them when ever I get the time. I just finished reading Head Over Heels by Jill Shalvis. I love her books! Next I am going to finish reading Vicki Lewis Thompson's Sons Of Chance series. Then who knows.
I have quite a large TBR pile. Here is a short list of books in the pile. The Real Werewives of Vampire County The Seal of My Dreams In Leah's Wake The Storm that is Sterling The Iron King To Wed A Wild Lord The Sweethearts Knitting Club(first book of yours for me to read.) Forever Mine Circle of Desire That is just to name a few. My to buy list/Christmas wish list is even larger. Thanks for the giveaway and the chance to win. christinebails@yahoo.com
Well, I have 2 new ones by you know who! Plus I have 28 in my TBR pile. Peter James, Penny Warner, Sara Rosett, Jeri Westerson, Steve Ulfelder, Max Allan Collins, John Hart, Sandra Parshall, Janet Evanovich, Mary Jo Putney, Hank Phillipa Ryan, Elizabeth Boyle, Rochelle Staab, Dorothy Howell and those are just the ones I can see.
Just finished The Christmad Wedding by James Patterson--LOVED it, could not put it down. Today I'm Starting Serendipity by Carly Phillips. As for my TBR Pile--let's just say I need to go straight to Bookk Hoarders Anonymous. Lol! Definitely want to finish the Twilight, Texas Series ASAP.
Finished reading Fern Michaels' Christmas at Timberwoods (Dec. book club read) this morning & am now undecided on what's up next. My tbr pile is more like a tbr mountain! Also have a bunch of e-books to read. Started to read some of the stories in SEAL of My Dreams - may get back to those. I did pull Victoria Dahl's Bad Boys Do off the shelf but if my order arrives today that one may get put back & Jill Shalvis' Head Over Heels will take its place.
I do have to mention two outstanding books I've read recently - Catherine Mann's Hot Zone (absolutely fabulous!) and Robyn Carr's Hidden Summit (Excellent!)
Ah yes - as the saying goes - so many books, so little time!
I have 500+ on my bookshelves I haven't read yet and another 200+ on my Kindle. I just finished Suzanne Brockmann's Night Watch and I loved it. Thanks for the giveaway!
Right now I am in the middle of my annual Christmas stories reading marathon. I just finished CHRISTMAS EVE AT FRIDAY HARBOR by Lisa Kleypas. Next on the TBR pile is A WINTER SCANDAL by Candace Camp.
I have tons of books on my TBR list. So I'm going to list the Christmas theme books I hope to read this month.
Unwrapped anthology Holiday Kisses anthology Her Christmas Pleasure by Karen Erickson Sex, Lies and Mistletoe by Tawny Weber It Happened One Christmas by Leslie Kelly Merry Christmas, Baby anthology Sexy Silents Nights by Cara Summers
And the list goes on. Wow, I better to to reading since my list is at least twice as long as what I listed.
My TBR pile is way too long to list. I think I have over 100 books, 100 in Kindle, &the 15 in Nook to read. Top on my list are Raylene's story, Lorelei James new one & Sarah McCarthys new one. I jsuthave finished Lora Leighs Lawe's Justice. I'd better get started on the next one!
Oh my goodness! I don't even know where to start, there are so many. I seem to find a new one every day so it is a very long list. Right now, I am attempting to cover the holiday themed books that I have in my TBR stacks.
I currently have over 100 Christmas Romance books that I need to read. Currently reading The Christmas Wedding by James Patterson..Busy reading and still purchasing my holiday books.
On my unread stack I have a copy of Time I started yesterday. The cover story "Why Anxiety is Good for You," grabbed my attention. Stuck to the front is a to do list: Read, fold clothes, check on swim lessons, renew driver's license.
Underneath is Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck. It was recommended by a friend and her teen daughter. It's the first in a series. The last time she handed me her copy of a book I cried all over it and had to replace the darn thing. I'm afraid to open this one.
Next I have Literary Essays: Writing About Reading by Lucy Calkins and Medea McEvoy because I bombed yesterday's lesson. Ack! When the bright shiny penny kid asks "What do you want me to do?" I know I'm in trouble.
Last I have The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo. I picked it up with The Tiger Rising (also DiCamillo)which I needed for yesterday's lesson. I've loved all of her books, except Tiger Rising. It would be a spoiler if I shared why I intensely dislike it. Everyone else loves it, except me. That's why it is the required district mentor text for the lesson that I bombed. (A cardinal rule of teaching: Never teach about a book you hate.)I'm hoping Edward Tulane will soothe my bruised ego and repair my imaginary friendship with Kate DiCamillo.
There aren't any romance novels sitting in my stack. I like to eat dessert first.
My pile of TBR books are huge, so I'll only list a few: Immortal Rider - Larissa Ione The Taking - Erin McCarthy In Bed with a Highlander - Maya Banks Surrender To Me - Sophie Jordan
I have an enormous, lovely, varied tbr pile. How about just from my ereader. Right now, reading small town Christmas. I am on Katie Lanes story. Color of Heaven, Every which way but wicked, Conners Way, Simmer all night, Silver Storm. I could go on here. Plus the loads of beautiful books on my shelves too. :-)
Where do I start? I have a pile of books from my sister plus several I purchased myself. And, here's the biggie, I have almost 2200 on my Kindle. Right now I'm reading A Victorian Christmas (anthology) by Catherine Palmer. Up next is Bubba and the 12 Deadly Days of Christmas by C.L. Bevill. I've read that already but the sequel just came out today. I'll be busy for the rest of my life getting through this PILE.
My TBR pile is huge. reading Dirty by Debra Webb right now. Eagerly awaiting the Christine book. But my next is by Donna Fletcher. Haven't read her yet. But no time like the present.
I have so many books in my TBR pile (both print and electronic). There are many historicals, paranormals, and contemporaries. One that I really want to get to soon is the new Sabrina Jeffries book. June M. manning_j2004 at yahoo dot com
I have the Christmas Cocokie Chronicles: Raylene on my TBR pile for Christmas. I'm also trying to get to The Help and finally settle in to read that. I'm also thinking about reading my first (I know, I know, late to the game) Stephanie Plum mystery by Janet Evanovich. I have friends who love them and keep telling me I need to read them.
HI Lori, I am reading some Christmas romances right now. Next in my line up is Mistletoe Wishes anthology. I have just about caught up with my TBR pile.
Um, I think it is easier to ask "what is NOT in your TBR pile". I honestly have hundreds of books waiting for me to read them. I love checking out the local Goodwill because I always find a ton of cheap books there. This has led to me having a few bookcases stocked with books to read. But there is never a such thing as too many books! Coming up next on my TBR list is The Bungalow by Sarah Jio, I can't wait!
I have too many books in my TBR pile, but no matter what I am reading at the moment, I have been putting the book down to read each of the Christmas Cookie Chronicles as they are downloaded to my kindle. Just finished Raylene's story and I am looking forward to Christine's story next week. I am currently reading a series by Liz Curtis Higgs "Fair is the Rose" a love story set in the late 1700's in Scotland. It is the second book in the series of 4. The first one was "Thorn In My Heart" which was most excellent! I really don't know if I will ever get through my TBR pile as I keep adding to it all the time! I LOVE books!!
So many...Changeling Dream..by Dani Harper WolfAngel..by M.D.Lachlan Dragongirl for Anne McCaffrey because I'll miss her Tied with a bow by Lora Leigh The Famous Heroine..by Mary Balogh Naked City..Patrica Briggs
