Meet My Parents

Meet my parents, Fred and Maxine. We had a wonderful time this Christmas. Here we are at the Cracker Barrel having lots of fun.

Mom and I got to do some shopping.

They are the best parents ever! They have been married for 54 years! WOW. Aren't they a nice looking couple.

  1. They certainly are nice looking people, and you look like your mother!

    Happy new year.

  2. Cracker Barrel! Gotta love those. So glad you had a great Christmas, Lori.

  3. Your parents are so cute together! Great pictures! Thanks for sharing!

They're a true testament of what real love is!

I agree with Cheri - You do look like your mother :)

Hope you all have a wonderful New Year!

    May God bless,
    Trisha Wilson

  4. Hi Lori's Mom and Dad! Glad you got to spend time over the holidays with your parents. Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite eating places! Have a very Happy New Year!

  5. Love to go to Cracker Barrel and watch people get the best inspirations. I agree with Cheri, you're the spittin' image of your mom. What an accomplishment to have been married for 54 years awesome. HEY, maybe you could do a Cracker Barrel Tour??? We've got some in Virginia.

  6. Lori,
What nice photos of you and your mom and dad. I'm glad you were able to be together for the holiday. My mom is in South Carolina and this year we just couldn't get there.

I love Cracker Barrel- I think I love the store as much or more than the food. I always come away with a little something for me. :)

BTW, finished the first two Christmas Chronicles and started Christine's story this morning. I am enjoying the stories. I will miss the folks from Twilight.

Here's hoping 2012 is a happy and healthy year for you and your family. Maybe I'll make it to RWA in July. I'd love to see you.

  7. You look just like your Mom! Hope your Christmas was a good one and the New Year will be a happy, healthy and prosperous one for you!

  8. Wonderful pics, Lori! Your parents seem to be a very nice couple & wow, 54 years!!!

  9. What a nice picture of all of you! You are so lucky to have your parents for Christmas. And you went to one of my favorite places to eat and shop, Cracker Barrel!! Love it!!

  10. Thank you all for the sweet comments! I have been told a lot that I look like my mother. The Cracker Barrel is a neat place. It has that old time country store atmosphere. Great place to go with the family.

  11. I'm sitting at my dad's kitchen table in Phoenix right now. We had to choose between Cracker Barrel and Macayo's for dinner tonight. Macayo's won because we are in Arizona. (I've heard that my birth certificate can be revoked if I don't eat enough chillies). I'm enjoying every minute Dad and his wife.

Your parents seem like wonderful people. Families are the best.

  12. I was glad to meet you and take the pictures of your parents when my wife and I were with you all at the Cracker Barrel. By the way, I'm the minister who performed the ceremony 'way back in 1957. I'm a Texas Native Son, transplanted in South Carolina. The Reverend Lawrence Webb

  13. It's nice to meet you Rev. Webb!

  14. Now we know where you got your good looks.
Also I love the cape you and your mom found.
