Saturday Study Hall

I'm working on a paper due on Monday. I love this class because it's novel writing! I know, I've written 64 novels, why am I taking a novel writing class?

Well for one thing you can never be too good of a writer. We can always learn. I love improving.

Secondly, I'm taking this class to force me to make room for this big book I've been wanting to write but have been putting off because I've been editing and writing and teaching and well...you get the picture. If it's not mandatory, I won't get around to it, so I made it mandatory by taking the novel writing class.

It's a story in a completely different genre. Magic Realism. Along the lines of Sarah Addison Allen. I'm excited.

How about you? What are you doing today?

  1. Last night I was at the Hockey Game and today I have just been reading and relaxing... It snowed up a storm here, so there was not much else to do.
I am almost finished Head Over Heels by Jill Shalvis...
Tomorrow will be more of the same, if the storm keeps up..
    Enjoy your class....

  2. I'm excited for you and your important novel. It makes me smile every time I think of a NYT bestselling author taking a novel writing class.

You keep nudging me to get back into classes with these class comments. I need to take a big breath and jump into school.
