Whatcha Reading?

I recently discovered that you can get all the old fairy tales for free on Kindle. I've been going nuts rereading the fables that used to delight me as a kid. I just finished The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. It's nothing like the Disney version.

How about you? What are you reading?

  2. And now I remember what I forgot to buy at Target yesterday. Dang it. I meant to grab Rhonda Nelson's "Real Men Wear Plaid." Right now I'm in between reads and idly flipping through and re-reading Jayne Castle's "Amaryllis."

  4. Just finished the advance copy of Rachel Vincent's If I Die that I scored at BEA last month (pub date October 2011). What a read! I'll be lemming the rest of the Soul Screamers series now.

  6. I am, Lori. It's sad. I've been having a hard time finding stuff that pulls me in. *sigh* I don't particularly care for dark paranormal. The "fluffier" paranormal always winds up being "too cute." Nobody's writing actiony romance (sobs, I miss those!). I'm in a book-funk. It's depressing.

  7. I've been in a book funk for ten years. The dangers of being an author. I've come to accept it and read anyway.
